Ensemble Alioni of Chicago
-- Donations and Award --
Georgian singing is a living folk tradition, which is shared person-to-person.
Ensemble Alioni's inspiring goal is to study with master singers from the
Republic of Georgia. We use your donations to bring Georgian singing teachers to the U.S.
and, when possible, Alioni makes the long journey to learn in Caucasus Georgia.
The knowledge and skills we gain are used to teach you and others in the Chicago area this unique, traditional music and to share the excitement of singing together.
We also perform these spectacular Georgian songs in concert
to the delight of our audiences!
It's quick and easy to do today...
You make it possible to keep the teaching and singing of Georgian music alive.
We are grateful for your donation of any size!

Georgian Choral Festival 2020!
Ensemble Alioni is taking on a new project:
We are inviting existing Georgian ensembles, all interested singers, and curious audience members from throughout the U.S. and beyond to a weekend of workshops and performances in Chicago in June of 2020.
If you would like to learn new Georgian singing techniques, exchange song repertoire and meet others who are delighted by Georgian music,
or you would like information about Georgian music performances during the festival weekend then sign up for the Alioni mailing list.
Georgians are reviving and evolving their polyphonic traditions.
Singers and audiences around the world are joining in the effort.
We hope this Georgian choral festival will inspire
more singers and listeners to do the same.
More importantly, we believe the world needs more harmony.
Joining voices in song with new friends and old binds us in ways that words cannot.
Sharing that harmony with audiences brings us all closer.
Please make a donation (of any size), using the Donate button above
to help get this Festival going. Thank you!
